Fireco adds power to EDF’s fire safety
Fireco Ltd. - the UK’s leading specialists in fire prevention, fire safety and fire consultancy – has won a contract to carry out Fire Risk Assessments for EDF Energy at sites across the UK on behalf of Lorne Stewart
As part of the fire risk assessment process required under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Fireco will be making recommendations to improve some of the physical features of fire protection and fire management within EDF Energy sites across the UK. Fireco assessors will also be advising about means of escape, evacuation and compartmentation issues across various specialist properties.
Fireco has been appointed by Lorne Stewart PLC, one of the UK's leading building engineering services companies and providers of facilities management services to EDF Energy.
Fireco are fire consultants to a number of major UK organisations, assisting them to meet their responsibilities for Fire Risk Assessment through the company's training and consultancy services.
