Fireco in Fire Safety role at BBC
Fireco Ltd. - the UK’s leading specialists in fire prevention, fire safety and fire consultancy, has won a contract to carry out Fire Risk Assessments for key BBC sites in the London area including TV, Radio and Recording Studios plus admin and technical support facilities.
Fireco has been appointed by Johnson Controls Inc. (JCI) the providers of facilities management services to the BBC for their London and Scottish properties. As part of the fire risk assessment process required under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Fireco will be advising on fire protection and fire management within the buildings. Fireco assessors will also be advising about means of escape, evacuation and compartmentation issues across various specialist properties.
