Fireco announces new BS 7273-4 ABE approved workshops
A series of ABE approved BS 7273-4 Code of Practice courses aimed at helping raise awareness of the new British Standard relating to fire door release mechanisms in the event of fire are being held at Fire Safety HQs across the country.
These Fireco Ltd. sponsored courses, delivered by Ian Gough MIFireE. MBEng, Technical Advisor to the ABE and British Automatic Fire Sprinkler Association (BAFSA), are designed to assist Heads of Fire Safety, Inspecting Officers and Building Control Officers in providing relevant information/ assistance to the responsible persons when specifying door retainers.
Ian Gough speaking about the workshops comments “These valuable courses have CPD points, should last for no longer than 2 hours and will assist inspecting officers in interpreting the correct door retaining systems for any premises they visit.”
