I have a party of deaf people checking into my hotel soon. I need to alert them when the fire alarm sounds, is Deafgard suitable for this?
Absolutely! Deafgard would be the ideal solution for this and as Deafgard is a completely wireless, moveable device you can use it in different rooms. You would need one Deafgard for each deaf or hard of hearing person if it is a group of people. Just follow the instructions in the Deafgard operating guide.
A deaf guest has asked for a wake-up call, what shall I do?
Deafgard has an integrated alarm clock for deaf and hard of hearing people that can perform the wake-up call for you!
Why does Deafgard not react to the fire alarm?
Check your fire alarm is louder than 75dB and that the batteries don’t need replacing. Your fire alarm needs to sound for at least 30 seconds to activate Deafgard. Also try adjusting the sensitivity of the Deafgard unit.
Why does the pillow pad not vibrate?
Check that Deafgard is switched on and that the batteries don’t need replacing. Also check that the cable from the pillow pad is connected securely to the Deafgard unit and that the pillow pad is not in the cradle.
Why are the strobe LEDs not flashing?
