Neil Purssey. Managing Director
Inventor of Dorgard. Educated in Weybridge, Surrey.
Joined AC Cars of Thames-Ditton, manufacturer of the famous "Cobra", whilst attending study that led to an HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
His success within "Motor Racing Developments" prompted recruitment by Bernie Ecclestone to the Brabham Racing Team and development of Formula One cars alongside Gordon Murray. International travel involved learning to fly with an airline for which he designed a unique freighting system.
Other designs include aircraft test apparatus and maintenance equipment, manufacture of own road going sports car, and latterly architectural design varying from Petrol Stations, to Restaurants and Interior Design. It was his work with interior design that made him aware of the importance of an affordable fire door hold open device.
Kristian Salter. Finance Director
Kristian joined Fireco in May 2000. His responsibilities involve the whole realm of accounting for the company. Kristian attended Lewes College to complete the Association of Accountants Technician qualification.
Before Fireco Kristian worked for 5 years at an accountancy practice in East Sussex.
Wesley Kent FLnstSMM. Sales Director
Wesley joined Fireco in May 1999, his responsibilities range from the management of the telesales team to overseeing all aspects of Sales within Fireco. Wesley specialises in launching new products into the market and is a Fellow member of the Institution of Sales and Marketing Management. Prior to joining Fireco Wesley managed a travel company firm in Suffolk.
Michelle Bussey. Operations Director
Michelle joined Fireco in September 2002, she brought with her a vast experience of managing teams in a variety of organisations.
She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations across customer services, administration and human resources. Michelle is CPP qualified.
Kate Hamilton BA (Hons). Marketing Manager
Kate joined Fireco in August 2004, she is responsible for the running of the Marketing department.
Kate graduated from Brighton University in July 2004 and joined Fireco as Marketing Executive. She is now studying for her CIM Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing.
